Maggie Daley Park Lawns Set To Open This Week

The fences are about to come down around Maggie Daley Park's great lawns. Looking a very lush green, the lawns run on an angle from the northeast to southwest corners of the park. The substantial grass fields are perfect for both active and passive recreaction be it a picnic, playing frisbee or flying a kite. The great lawns are the last major elements of Maggie Daley Park that are still not open to the public. A formal celebration and opening of Maggie Daley Park is expected to take place later this month.
