Grant Park Skate Plaza A Hit!

Over a hundred skateboarders, rollerbladers and BMXers along with many onlookers showed up on a brisk Saturday for the Grant Park Skate Plaza Opening Day. The riders were the first to grind, kickflip and jump at the new skate park and were impressed by the quality and design of the park. The Grant Park Skate Plaza is a new dynamic element of Grant Park that activates the park and appeals to the youth, a demographic long neglected. A thank you to our partners at the Danny Way Foundation who helped make the Grant Park Skate Plaza Opening Day one to remember.
