Not Your Average Ice Rink

Chicago RedEye provides an update on the Maggie Daley Park ice ribbon. When it does open, the meandering ice ribbon lined with pine trees will offer Chicagoans a cool experience that's different from Millennium Park, said Bob O'Neill, president of the Grant Park Conservancy. "It's a much more natural experience. It's a little bit of the country in the city. The skating ribbon is reminiscent of skating on an ice-covered creek or river."
