ENABLING GRANT PARK TO RESPOND AND ADAPT TO THE

CHANGING NEEDS OF ITS USERS SINCE 2002

The Grant Park Conservancy is a 501c(3) not-for-profit with a mission to provide a permanent body that enables Chicago's Grant Park to respond and adapt to the changing needs of its users, as the park passes from generation to generation. Some of these needs relate to landscaping, infrastructure, design, cultural activities and public art.

Grant Park is often referred to as "Chicago's Front Yard" spanning 300 acres of lakefront green space separating the downtown Chicago Loop from Lake Michigan. Grant Park hosts some of Chicago's most popular attractions including: Buckingham Fountain, Millennium Park, the Art Institute of Chicago and Maggie Daley Park.

Grant Park Volunteers

The Grant Park Conservancy is thankful for the long-term partnerships with our volunteer organizations. Grant Park is Chicago's front yard to the world and without much needed volunteers, many of the park's improvements would not be possible.

Leveraging funding and integrating ideas from both the public and private sectors for the future improvement and development of Grant Park, as well as the promotion of the park, will make it a truly lively civic space.
