The Lagos:  Grant Park’s Golden Rabbit Award each year, we host the Lago Awards.  “Lago” is short for “lagomorpha,” the biological classification for rabbits.  The golden statue of a rabbit, awarded at a reception at The Green at Grant Park, recognizes dedicated individuals in the categories of landscape design, community outreach, architecture, the arts, education, cultural programming, urban planning, and volunteerism.
